Hassan Sassi, is a Senior Structural and Earthquake Engineer with URS with 36 years of experience in structural dynamics, structural mechanics and earthquake engineering. Prior to joining URS, Dr. Sassi served as a Technical Advisor to the California Office of Emergency Services (OES). He was in charge of damage assessment, evaluation, and recommended FEMA funding for over 400 buildings including 21 hospitals in the aftermath of the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
