Anwar S. Ahmad, P.E. is a Senior Bridge Preservation Engineer with FHWA’s Office of Infrastructure in Washington, DC. Mr. Ahmad is actively involved in various committees, including AASHTO TSP.2 Bridge Preservation Regional Partnerships, AASHTO Subcommittee on Structures and Bridges, AASHTO Subcommittee on Maintenance, and Transportation Research Board Structural Maintenance Committee. He is currently serving as the co-chair for the FHWA Bridge Preservation Expert Task Group and is the author of the Bridge Preservation Guide, FHWA Publication Number FHWA-HIF-11-042.
