Metal Construction Fasteners – Causes and Controls of Fastener Failures – DEWALT Sponsored Webinar

June 26, 2024, 12 p.m. Central

The attachment of metal to metal can often be a difficult application to specify products for. There are many factors to consider from the thickness of materials being fastened together, drilling capacity of the fasteners to ensure a positive connection, loading conditions and not least of all the effects of the environment the fasteners will be exposed to. In this presentation the DEWALT Field Engineer will start with the basics of fastener selection, how to properly callout fasteners in drawings, discuss the failure modes to be aware of, outline corrosion effects to be aware of, how flex technology controls the fastener failure and present the wide range of DEWALT steel fasteners (Formerly branded as Elco) to meet your project needs.

Continuing education credit will be provided by DEWALT to attendees after the webinar. Email Deepu John, Deepu.John@sbdinc.com.
